Users, Groups and Roles—an Overview
In SCENE WebShare Cloud, you can assign different roles to a user. Depending on those roles, a user is allowed to execute different tasks.
In a SCENE WebShare Cloud domain, the Project Manager is the one to define which projects are public or private. Public projects are visible to anyone.
The private projects are only visible and accessible by specified users.
The Domain Administrator has to add these users to the domain.
First, the Project Manager creates groups to define access rights. To control the access to projects, the Project Manager assigns those groups to specific projects. Then, the Project Manager assigns users to the groups.
The Uploader role has no administrative access at all, but the right to upload data.
A User must have at least one group in common with a private project to be able to open and access it.
